Forum[]

Firstly, can you make a forum? Exp.Fl.Cmndr. Mitth'raw'nuruodo 08:20, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Otheruses[]

Is there an otheruses template already on this wiki? One that could be edited into two or more articles so that the articles would be linked to a disambiguation page? Exp.Fl.Cmndr. Mitth'raw'nuruodo 08:20, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Not that I know of. Didn't even know they existed. To see what I've done in the past, look at Duchy of Westphalia. - Nomadic1 08:46, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Much appreciated. Exp.Fl.Cmndr. Mitth'raw'nuruodo 09:18, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Local history wiki[]

I think that the wiki needs to go from the more general aspects of history  to the smaller more secondary articles. For example: I know that maybe the history of neuroscience may interest the random user but the truth is there s a bigger chance that the history of Argentina may interest more peaple to help understand the political situation that  it is in right now. Again I m just using examples

I also think that it si vital to make the wiki more navegable and more atractive by using pictures.

As for how to organise all history maybe we can talk about (firstly) eastern and western history and only then divide the diferent "histories" into different time periods

And also I dont know if I wrote this in the right place so pardon me for my ignorance if i was wrong

Revive the wiki![]

By this point, it would be too selfish not to admit that the wiki is dead; really dead. The most recent talk is from 2013, and that post was still about this wiki being dead. Where are all the admins? We really need them right now to spruce up the history wiki. Until then, there's not much hope.

There is a way though. We need the USERS to be more active as well! Everybody reading this, please do all you can do help revive this wiki. It would be very disappointing to see it just disappear into the dust like *that*. You don't have to do anything big or special; all I'm asking is that you put in your share; you can go to the front page or a talk and add a little discussion about history, or anything history-related (or not -- at this point, anything is welcome).

My plan is that once we've done enough of that and the wiki is somewhat more alive, we can start advertising it. I know we'll need the admins for that, so can someone contact them and send a request?

REVIVE THE HISTORY WIKI!!!!
