Franklin Delano Roosevelt, abbreviated FDR, born January 30 1882 and died April 12 1945, was the 32nd President of the United States of America from 1933 until 1945 when he died. He was a Democrat who won four presidential elections. He lead the U.S. through most of the Great Depression where he implemented the New Deal to respond to the economic crisis happening at the time.
